This morning at Nottingham Networking Group (NNG), we welcomed Alain Mengoli from ServGas for our 15-minute member presentation, giving everyone an insight into the business, its services and its commitment to customer care.

ServGas is a family-owned business specialising in domestic gas, heating, air-source heat pumps and air conditioning. Alain explained how the company focuses on making the whole customer experience straightforward, from the initial enquiry through to completing the work.

A key part of the presentation was the ServGas Promise, built around five simple principles: being punctual, professional, respectful, clean and transparent.

These values underpin the company's approach to delivering reliable service and building long-term customer relationships.

Alain also took us through the customer journey, from the first conversation and expert advice to receiving a clear, free quotation and having the work completed with care.

NNG members were treated to an informative and refreshingly straightforward presentation from Ross of RS Electrical Services (2007) Limited, highlighting the company's wide range of electrical services and its commitment to quality workmanship.

With over 20 years of experience, Ross explained how RS Electrical Services supports domestic, commercial and industrial customers across Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

From replacing a simple light fitting or socket through to complete property rewires, electrical inspections, commercial installations and fault finding, the presentation demonstrated just how varied the company's work can be.

Ross also shared photographs of electrical installations, including examples of older consumer units alongside modern replacements, giving members a useful insight into the importance of electrical safety and maintaining installations to a high standard.

A key message throughout the presentation was the importance of good customer service, honest communication and reliability.

Ross outlined four principles at the heart of the business: customer service, trust, reliability and satisfaction.

It's a straightforward approach: turn up when expected, communicate clearly, carry out quality work and make sure the customer is happy with the result.

The presentation was a good reminder that, whether it's a small repair at home or a larger commercial project, having a knowledgeable and dependable electrician makes all the difference.
